Didn't TurboTax recently get hacked? Something like 19 states affected with a delay in getting returns processed?
Not to alarm anyone of course....obviously it can happen anytime to any company....I was just wondering if anyone heard or had their state affected?
AFAIK, Michigan is OK, though now that you mention it, I'm not sure I got the email that my state return was processed. I know I got the federal one. That's the one I really worry about anyway.
Thanks for the update Ollie! [emoji106]
....rather the "correct information". That was my bad, I caught the tail end of the story on the radio and should have looked into it more thoroughly before posting.
Well, even though I've got to amend due to last minute additions, I took the plunge.
I just scored a Gear VR for $80 new in the box on ebay. That's a price I can get behind & nor feel bad about when I go to upgrade my phone. By then, I figure I will have stopped paying with the vr constantly in plenty of time before.
Seems too good to be true, but it claims to be new in the box & says Samsung & occulus in the title & description. If it turns out to be a rip off, the listing also says they take returns.
No shipping info yet, but the estimate before I bought it said it'd be here in about a week.
Well, turns out I should've listened to my gut. It was too good to be true. The listing has been removed and the seller is no longer a "registered member" on ebay. So, I sent them a request for a refund, but I doubt I'll get anything from them. Have to wait a few days before I can ask ebay to step in, so I'll bide my time for now. Not the worst I've ever been screwed on ebay, but it's been so long that I had forgotten it still happens...

I lost over $400 once trying to buy a phone from overseas, so $80's not a big deal if I can't get retribution this time. Unlike the money order I paid for that phone with, this was a PayPal purchase and they guaranteed it.
I haven't in a long time myself, but it was a great deal, so I went for it. Seller had 100% positive feedback, but now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure the excitement at the price got the best of me and I didn't even check to see how many feedback ratings they had received.
