TBolt Battery Life Thread

Got 10 hours yesterday with above normal usage before the battery light turned yellow. Felt good with that knowing I would use it less in the future. Just wondering why some of you aren't charging at night? Were you testing it , or do you always not charge it then. Better than my d1 running miui.

+1 on extended battery pics. I charge my phone while I'm at work. If it goes dead before I wake up I'm going to be pissed.

I've got mine plugged in all day at work. But was at about 95% last night before going to bed and I was still around 90-95% in the morning. It was unplugged all night.

I saw one post saying they saw a huge hit overnight. So just saying.

I'm getting about 6 hours of battery right now in a 4G area. That is with moderate browsing going on and everything else. Still, I think it should be better. I have a 1600mAh battery from Seido ordered along with a case. Hope that helps.

You should be OK unless you use it a lot when you get home. I charged mine last night, took it off the charger about 7:30 pm, re-registered with a few apps that had to download pretty large databases, and in the morning the battery was still about 80%. Very light use so far today, but at 10:45 my time the battery is still at 50%.

I was fine last night because I had it plugged into my laptop via USB. It went from 100% to 72% being idle all night though.

Is it true the battery life is better in 3G areas? I'm on the edge about (20 miles) from 4G and this battery life is whats keeping me away from this phone. But if I'll mostly be in 3G then maybe I'm thinking my battery will be better. I do go into 4G for school though.

3G area, on a full charge yesterday I watched ncaa BB streaming non-stop for 4.5 hours, screen about 30% and volume 100%. Total time before it died was about 5 hours.

stats in 3g, 7h 3 m sinc e unplugged...display 36%, voice calls 35%...sitting @ 70% battery. Comparable to my droid actually.

FWIW I have made 3-4 phone calls, browsed forums this morning, weatherbug, etc. i'd say medium to light use. screen brightness is way down tho, put on like 20%

7 hours at 70%? I can live with that, thats actually good compared to my droid now. I'm itching to get this phone soo bad especially with locking in 4g/3g. Only other thing that really bothers me is the lack of ability to change the led color.

So first day use I had to charge-up twice (I'm in an LTE area), but I was constantly playing with it (streaming video to JTV, etc). Last night I charged to 100% (green light), set a wake-up alarm and went to bed.

By morning the phone was depleted, no alarm.

This morning I have disabled LTE (3G only with #*#* setting) and I'm charging again. 25% brightness, FB, Twitter, and email updates set to 1/hr. We'll see how well it stands up without succumbing to the crack-like goodness of LTE. I'll report back later.

I'm already planning to get the 2750mAh battery when it's available.

It's available. Got mine yesterday at the Verizon corp store.
