TBolt's New Update Starts Again

OK, so I got the update from Verizon, which under Settings>Software update>status; now shows I have Mecha_VERIZON_WWE_1.13.605.7-1.12.605.6

What, if anything, does this change? The ThunderBolt works but not any different, for the better or worse, that I can tell.

My TB was stock other than Android and Amazon apps. Updated about 15 minutes ago; have been checking on regular basis via the update option under software settings, so I did not see any notification for this being available, BTW. :blink:

Mine has said that also at times. I cannot think of anything consistent that caused mine to "error". BTW, I have never had 4G service with my TB so far.

Checked for update today and just got done a few minutes ago.

Just got mine too.

I live in a "dead zone" most of the time, so had to jump in the car and drive a few blocks to find a 3G spot. Then, it took a looonnnng time to install. But I got it. Finally. Stock TBolt, except 1700 milliamp battery.

Went to software update and there it was. GPS works a lot better and my backup assistant is now functioning. GPS used to take forever to lock in, and this was outdoors. Now it locks in while in my house. I noticed when I went to use the NFL Mobile app I had to use my sign in credentials for the Verizon website. That was new, but don't know if it was from the update. Other than that, Thunderbolt still rocks!

I would also like to know if I install this update on a non rooted TB, will it cause any problems if I want to root on the future?

well i never had any reboots from the leak. I dont think ima flash the new update. Like they say, if aint broke, dont fix it.

I got the update a few hours ago, but just checked the NFL app. No logon for me. In fact, no difference period. At least none that I notice.

I had the same problem, did a battery pull and when it rebooted I went to Software Updates and it was magically there. Could be coincidence...

I tried that, no go. My daughter has a TBolt as well and she is having the same issue.
