Looks like the day after Team Nexus pre-order Team Turbo can straight up by their phone....Im not surprised smart move on Verizon's part. They really have learned from their past mistakes.
Still for those whose only complaint about the turbo was not having a 64gb model...well here you go. So the new line is drawn.
Team Nexus vs Team Tubo
5.96 inch screen vs 5.2 inch
3200 mAh battery vs 3900mAh
13mp camera vs 21 mp camera
turbo charging for both
both have 2.7 quad core snap dragon processors
both come with 3GB of Ram
Blue/white vs metallic black, metallic red, and ballistic neon (Ballistic neon only for 64gb model)
Available for preorder tomorrow vs available for purchase thursday
5.0 lollipop vs 4.4.4 kit kat with lollipop to come
fully unlocked vs verizon only (as of now)
6 inch vs 5.2
3200 mAh vs 3900 mAh
13 mp vs 21 (tomorrow will either confirm or dispute this)
5.0 Lollipop with swift updates vs 4.4.4 with an update to 5.0 in the future
All US carrier vs Verizon only
On screen buttons vs capacitive
32 & 64 GB version vs 32 GB version
Come in blue and white vs red and black
I like how the turbo looks slightly better in some important areas, bigger battery, bigger camera, red and black... though white would've been nice. capacitive vs screen.
I'm torn. Will probably visit a VZW store to compare them side-by-side myself (whenever the two receive in-store displays if they haven't already), mostly because both are larger than my current Galaxy Nexus and will be a slight or large adjustment. If their past Nexus and Droid line is any indication, lack of VZW bloat and an unlockable bootloader will push me towards the N6
The Droid Zap is a close proximity method for sending pics and videos to other Droid Zap enabled phones. You place two fingers side by side on the pic at the bottom and swipe both fingers up to the top of the phone. It was on the Droid Ultra and Droid MAXX (my phone). It's been enhanced to now also allow Zap to the TV or Chromecast as well.
As for the "Four Moto Experiences", I've yet to see that.
"These are Moto Display, which wakes up the phone and displays the time and notifications when you reach for it; Droid Zap, Zap Zone, and Zap to TV for easy sharing of pictures and videos between friends or TVs with Google Chromecast; In addition, the Moto DROID Turbo benefits from Motorola's contextual awareness and natural language processors to deliver always-on voice control, gestures, and automated information and actions according to your current location or data collected by the device's sensors. For example, the phone detects you're driving to work and automatically quiets notifications and gives directions."
