Team Turbo or Team Nexus 6

No voice/data at same time would be a deal breaker for me as I do too much remote desktop with friends and family.
I can't believe moto let this "bug" pass through quality control.

Just saw that the Turbo will not do simultaneous voice and data until a future update before the end of the year. Very bad juju.

When I was at the store yesterday playing with them, all of the turbos had a system update that needed to be performed. This could have been the update for VoLTE.

It would be able to if you are in a 3g and 4g area at the same time. All calls get routed to your 3g radio because up until a few days ago, 4g was only for data. The call comes through on your 3g radio and you surf on the 4g radio.

I think that this notification is talking about the lack of VoLTE support. This would negate the use of the 3g radio (in the future) as the 4g radio would be able to make calls and surf the web at the same time.

To the best of my knowledge the only Verizon phone that could do VoLTE before now was the Thunderbolt.

The Thunderbolt never did voLTE, no verizon phones did until recently, they've always used the 3g network, not they are pushing this HD voice 1.0 stuff that uses voLTE and apparently releasing it before it's complete. kinda ridiculous.

The Turbo has only a single radio, rather than the dual radios of many other devices, so until the update users will be SoL. It may continue to be iffy in the future in areas that don't have great XLTE coverage as well. Add VZ bloat, difficult /impossible rooting, and no sexy red in the 64 gig and this is one I'll definitely have to pass on. For the time being the Droid line shall remain a sad shell of its former self.

as expected team turbo performs better in the battery department. So if you are not like the turbo battery performance then you may not want to look at the nexus 6 for a solution.

Ha ha - I'm an excellent swimmer but I just can't image myself ever becoming brave enough to actually take this thing underwater with me! [emoji1]

The Note 4, Turbo, and Z3v were on my short list. Love the Note 4 but was afraid of the size in everyday use. The Turbo looks amazing but it lacked LED notification. The Z3v seems to meet almost all of my needs. Its a tough decision!
My wife made me drown my z3v in bathroom sink. I actually turned on it's camera and live casted it's dive to YouTube in case it was going to be it's last.
