Tell me why I SHOULDNT get the Iphone 4

I have been doing the research, and it seems like the Iphone 4 outweighs the Droid lineup, even the HTC Thunderbolt(other than 4G). I am a big buff on long lasting battery life, and right off the bat, the Iphone gets 10x the battery life of your normal Android phone. I know their are things the Droid lineup has to offer that are worth mentioning. But tell me...with the Iphone 4 being a really nice device, is their any reason to steer clear from it???

Please try not to be bias :D I know this is a Droid forum :)

I want it too but have heard in multiple places the iphone 5 will be coming around july august I think it is. If u like iphone I would wait til then. Or have you checked out the bionic? It looks pretty sweet. Also im into customization so I like the fact that you can root your droid phones. Its much different than jailbreaking the iphone...

Find someone who has the iPhone on Verizon. Ask them to give you a call. Listen carefully to their voice. Does it sound natural to you? If you're happy with that, go for it. Don't forget to get a bumper, because the word is that the VZW iPhone suffers from antenna problems similar to the ATT iPhone.

My wife got her iPhone delivered on Monday, so today will be day 6 since she got hers. So far it's been trouble free. I mentioned about the antenna issue on the new phone, but she as not dropped a call with me or anyone else. If it's anything like the iPhone AT&T issue, then you had to have huge hands for it to be affected. Her voice quality is just fine too. She is the kind of person who will be perfect content with this iPhone version for 2 years and won't get envy when the new one comes out later in the summer.

It's a nice phone but I still see a lot more things I can do with my Android to not get the iPhone.

How bout you tell yourself why you should get an iphone. If you want it then get it.

I wanted one and waited and waited for it to come to Verizon. But back in December a friend put his Droid X in my hands and well you see where I ended up.

I love Apple products but I highly doubt there ia anything apple will do to make me even consider an iphone ever again now that I have a droid.

That thing can't touch my X.

The same reason why I wouldn't buy a Playstation 1 . It's outdated . We are on a 4g standard now. Why would you want to get LOCKED in a 2yr contract on a 3g phone? Also the new Iphone 5 will be released this year which all of the iphone 4 buyers will have to play full price for.

This reply says it all... by the time your contract is up in 20 months you got a 5 year old phone. Better than any of the droids?? Not even close man.. do some research..

4G isn't going to be in my area until 2013 I'm guessing. So by then, I will be due for yet another upgrade, and will be able to take advantage of a 4G phone. I keep asking myself, Why would I buy a phone that I won't be using correctly(i.e. Thunderbolt, or any other 4G phone). It's like why would I buy a Playstation 3, only to run Playstation 2 games in. Think about it.

3G is fast enough for me. I pity the fool who thinks it's a slow network and 4G is absolutely necessary :icon_eek:

Just because new technology comes out people...doesn't mean you have to jump on it right away ;)

This is a bad answer. The truth is that 4G isn't going to be in full swing for another two years, so if you buy now you're going to get mostly 3G anyway. The right answer is waiting on the iPhone5.

I really don't give a rats behind about 4g anyway, I think 3g works fine, so if I were to want an iPhone I'd wait until the iPhone 5 makes an appearance.

I agree that you should get what YOU want, you asked for opinions, so your getting them. Mine is, if you want an Iphone, get one. But, if your going to spend that kind of money, ask yourself this, why not wait a few months and get the new one? It will still work on 3G, and you will have the newest release, but again, do what you want, its your money.

DROOOID!!!!!!!!!

I know a number of people who bought the Sprint HTC Evo 4G at a premium price when it first came out, and still don't get 4G today because of location, but have to pay for 4G ($10/month more?) anyway.

If you want it, get it.

I'm not a lover of Apple products, cannot stand Steve Jobs, and my biggest problem with iPhone users fall into two classes.

One class is my friends out east who have them and constantly drop our calls; most likely due to AT&T's network, but might be the phone.
Second class seems to be every AUSA I know has one, and they are some of the most obnoxious people I know.
