I do a lot of texting and finally starting to learn the phone more I got into texting more frequent and more people. So, now I have a problem with how I receive notifications.
I have tried SMS Popup and liked it but I wasn't impressed with the fact that the ringer doesn't shut off after clicking reply. That was my biggest problem with that.
Now I have heard of Handcent and I am attempting to figure it out and how to set it up properly.
This is kinda what I am looking for it to do:
1. Popup notify me of a new text with "From: Subject"
2. I would like if I select "X" or "Reply" that the ringer shuts off
3. Different ringers per contacts also, if that's possible.
Does Handcent do this? or Is there any other messaging apps I should consider?
Thanks.
p.s
If anyone has screenshots of their messaging setups I would love to see them because I really would like to find the cleanest setup for texting and replying back and forth. (Average text per day can range from 100 txt to 1800) Since i've had my phone for 6 days now I have already texted 9,082 messages and counting.
