Text message memory full

I had installed the Weather Channel app a few weeks ago...upon installation, i lost all my contacts and texts. The contacts came back, but lost my texts. 2 weeks later, I get a "TEXT MEMORY FULL" alert and no texts could be recieved. Also, same day, no sync on my gmail accts. SO...uninstalled the Weather Channel app, and all is well....seems like there is money to be made writing weather apps....THAT ACTUALLY WORK!!!
