When you long pressa log to delete, you can then click any log you want and delete multiple. It's like shift clicking in windows :)

I don't use the stock texting app, so I'm not sure ... is the a "Main Screen" where you can see all your "Conversations" with different people? I would *think* from there you should be able to long press a "Conversation" and delete it from there ... if not, I have no clue. That's why I use Handcent. I find it sooooo much better :)

No, no, no. In a conversation, I used to be able to press the phone menu button and one of the choices was select multiple. After selecting that, check boxes would open on each text. I could check which ones to delete, leaving texts I wanted to save unchecked. So, if no one knows if this can somehow be rectified, do you know if it's actually a feature in Handcent?
 
Yes it is a feature in Handcent ... you can delete who threads or you can choose which ones you want to delete or keep. :)
