texting issues

When I reply to a text message, the message I send is somehow sent to another number from a previous text (not from the individual to which I am replying to). The number that my "reply text" goes to is from a text ( completely different person) which has actually been deleted from my message screen completely. Sometimes I can directly reply to a text with no problem at all. Other times it sends it to the wrong number, or multiple wrong numbers, as indicated above. Obviously there is something wrong. Any advice?

I started having issues today, as well--can receive but not send texts. After 3 calls to Tech Support, a hard reset and a related ringtone issue, the lovely tech support person decided it was the phone and not the user and I'm supposed to receive a replacement tomorrow. Might not hurt for you to contact Verizon's tech support, too...

I am having exactly the same issue. Have you discovered how to solve the problem? It can be rather embarrassing at times!
