Feeling dumb because I had to google Canik only to discover it is a gun maker. My experience with small arms is pretty limited to the government issued .45 (colt) that I qualified on and was issued extensively during my military career.

My husband and I were in college when he got his draft card. He was 2S till he finished college but fortunately the Vietnam war was over before we graduated.
