It's great to finally see some good news for HTC. Apparently, their boast that the HTC One M8 would help them climb out of the hole and turn a profit was not an over-confident boast. According to the latest financial info out of the Taiwanese company, they scored NT$2.8 billion profit ($92 million) on NT$65 billion ($2.2 billion) in revenue.
This is a solid turn-around for the oft-struggling company, as it finally breaks their long string of losses. These numbers reflect info before the launch of the plastic-bodied One M8 Ace and a paired-down One Mini. It's possible these budget-friendly devices will help erase even more red ink from HTC's ledger.
