The "New" New Phone Rumor Mill

I'll be crying too if the unlocked nexus doesn't come to vzw, and they claim the droid prime is the equivalent device. I just can't see them releasing 3 phones of near equivalent specs in such a clustered time frame.

3rd phone? The Vigor? Or a diff phone?

I think he means Galaxy Nexus (Google?), Droid Prime (Charge 2?), and HTC Vigor (Incredible HD?).

Anyone else starting to get confused? At least we knew the name of the Bionic.. 8 months ago..

Man I really want a Verizon Wireless Samsung Galaxy Nexus Droid Prime by Google.

Exactly!

Why does that make it less probable? Unless my Google-Fu is off, it looks like a 32gig class 10 card is only $10-$15 more than a lower level card. I would imagine that buying them at production scale would reduce the increase in cost even more...

I'll take a 32gb card of any class pre-loaded. This none included/4gb/8gb/whatever pre-loaded is crap. I want at least 16... 32 would be best. Give me a Vigor/Incredible HD with quality Beats headphones, a pre-loaded 32gig and a $299 on contract pricetag and I'm happy. Maybe Costco or BJs will throw in a desk dock as well or something. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that.

I think your right, it would seem kind of out of left field for the to put class 10s in it but im hoping. The chances are slim though. :(

I read in one of the threads I've been following that since it can record in 1080p that at least a class 8 card would be needed. Class 10 cards seem to be more common, and probably aren't that much more, especially in bulk.

^The Bionic can record in 1080p and it didnt come with a class 10 card. Class 4 I think it is.

Possibly a change in methodology? Record straight to SD Card vs. record to internal memory->dump to memory card after recording?

I have no idea, just trying to find a way to justify it haha

Have you actually tried recording to the sd card? I'm just curious, because my D3 records to the internal storage by default. I haven't tried 1080p straight to the sd card. I only have a class 4.
