Yeah, I got two responses. One from NEAreaExecutiveRelations@verizonwireless.com and the other from WestAreaExecutiveRelations@verizonwireless.com. Both responses asked for my account number, cell number and preferred contact number. I responded to both, so hopefully I'll hear something. I'll keep everyone posted if I hear anything back.

Man, now I don't feel special anymore.

Yeah I'll post my experience as well. Kind of surprised they responded and even more surprised it was within hours of my email.

Did anyone else get a call or email from Verizon after sending an email to an exec? I wasn't able to call her back before she left the office but I'm calling her tomorrow on my lunch break. What's crazy is they went through the trouble of looking up my information because I only left them my email.

I did too and they called me back was at woek though couldnt really talk

I asked the manager of radio shack today because she works next door. She said they haven't got any info on the nexus either. ... she did say.that.sometimes carriers hold phones for ransom and they don't find out til the day they show up and go on sale....

I don't know, they might tell us something, this wasn't the common email about bad coverage or billing. Multiple people sent emails specifically pertaining to the Galaxy Nexus and I'm sure it set off some flags. Even if they don't tell us anything we know we got their attention or else they would have just deleted the emails and went on with their day.

I'm about ready to say screw it and go back to my old DroidX. My Bionic drops data and needs rebooted/battery-pulled several times a day, and it seems the GNex is never coming out. I bet my son would be upset if I took my phone back from him :biggrin:

In all seriousness, I'm sure the GNex will be mine at some point in the near future. That's not what bothers me about this whole thing. It's just the complete and utter silence from Big Red. It's like when you really don't like somebody, you just ignore them and give them the silent treatment.

why don't you love us, Verizon? why?

I've been talking to the executive offices for over a month.

They are very nice, but bothering them will not get the Nexus released any sooner. The second they let me know when it's available I'll post it.

If verizon wasn't the only carrier that worked up where my in laws live, I would have jumped ship long ago. This delay isn't helping.
