Yeah, the case is very sad and empty. I put my D1 inside of it, but it isn't the same.

So my first impressions while playing with my new case (yeah, lame I know)...This screen is huge!

I mean, I am not a small person by any stretch of the word (6'2", 200lbs, with appropriately sized hands), and I cannot reach all four corners of this screen without regripping the "phone". To give you an idea, the screen's width is the outside width of the OD Droid, and is taller than the screen half. The case is remarkably thin, I was originally concerned that adding the case would add thickness that I would dislike, but the case is super thin, the phone would be almost uncomfortably thin.

I usually prefer naked phones, but the price/quality of this case is outstanding and I don't think will distract from the phone at all.

Called 2 stores. "Will you have the Nexus tomorrow?"

1) "As of right now, No, but you can call back tomorrow."

2) "No its been delayed and they haven't released a new date yet. The same thing happened with the bionic and it was released 3 days later, but, like the bipnic, we probably won't know the day of release until the actual day."

Seems to me like its not going to be tomorrow but I will call them in the morning.

My wife was up at BJ's today and asked about if they were going to have it there.

The rep replied "come back Thursday and we will have it for you"

No nexus today and none tomorrow with no date listed, they did offer to give me a call when they have a date given to them.

mmmmmmm. I'm not trying to throw this thread off topic, but I have a NA (also a love hate relationship I'm currently battling). Looking to throw either a MP62 or a M62 on.. I doubt my baby 1.6 can do the M62, so I may need to swap to a 1.8 before that.

FWIW -- I just called 3 stores in my area and asked: "Will you have the Galaxy Nexus Phone for sale tomorrow?"

Store 1 - Nope. It's been delayed and we don't know for how long.

Store 2 - Yep, we open at 10am come on in and get it.

Store 3 - Yes we have it and it's on the shelf first thing in the morning to purchase.

Majority rules?

This is frustrating. Two stores ACTUALLY said yes it will be on sale tomorrow!!?? Why would they say that if it wasn't? U would think every store got the update of the delay. Is there a glimmer of hope of a possible released tomorrow? Wouldn't that be the "silent release" big red supposedly wants? Make eaveryone think there is a delay when there really isn't? Feel free to tell me I sound like conspiracy theorist nutbag??

I'm rocking a T2554 and sitting at a comfortable 230hp. The car is a blast, as long as it is in agreement with me.

EDIT: oh, and none are currently stocked.

I called 4 corporate stores and they all said it was SUPPOSED to come out tomorrow but it got delayed for an unknown reason and they have no idea when it's coming. Also stopped by one of the retailer Quick-E mart stores and they said the same. But they don't even know when to expect inventory since they usually get phones several days after they launch.
