Gah... The camera has such mixed reviews! :angry: It reminds me of the mixed Bionic camera reviews. Some reviews say it beats the iphone others, it couldn't beat the Bionic. I must say though, if I'm going to have a bad camera, I'd rather have a higher quality bad camera! :biggrin:

I agree! Besides, my friends won't know the difference.. "Hey, look at my new phone! 12mp camera, and look how fast it takes pictures!". ...

Im coming from d1 so that's my comparison not the bionic. if it beats that, then its a great upgrade, if not then who cares because i really don't take pics anyway. I guess i could get into espionage and take zero shutter pics of classified docs which are of great importance in my 007 daydream fantasy. Lol, i really dont have those kodak moments nor do i facebook or anything so its kinda no biggy. id take it without a camera if i could have it in my hands right now.

I believe it is just Motorola trying to capitalize on the success of the DROID name. Its just re-branding IMO.

yes just got off the phone. The guy said that they were delayed and that the couldn't discuss how many they had if they got them and what the new date was. So it looks like everyone got the message. I don't even know if it is worth calling other stores. Lets hope the 11th is the date but probably next week

They're not selling it today. Maybe some stores who somehow didn't get the notification that it was delayed again may try to sell it this morning based on the earlier notification that it was being sold today, but I'm sure that as soon as they try to sell it they'll see in the system that they can't.

I don't think Verizon is going to announce it. I think they'll put up the banners and display after the store closes the day before they sell it, and then send out the email the next morning that it's now for sale. No preorder, no advertising push, just going on sale.

I expect that there will be an advertising push *after* it goes on sale.

This is all speculation.

The 11th? A sunday? Again I highly doubt that. I'd say either Monday the 12th or the 15th which is Thursday next week. My money is on the 15th.
