hey there boys and girls...i havent done this screen thing in a loooong time since D1 days that now its all foreign to me..is there a how to with wallpaper, widget lockers, making icons, what apps? :biggrin: i want a minimalist look but will all the notification when i get it.

It is impossible to answer this. There are nearly infinite possibilities, without some idea of what you are looking to achieve, help with your setup may be tough.

If you want ideas, go through http://mycolorscreen.com/?u <-- that site. Or various forums that have folks posting their screens, like this thread but other forums have them too, and get ideas. Note that you don't have to specifically look at Galaxy Nexus threads, you can look at any Android device and get an idea. If the user doesn't post information about their setup, perhaps ask what they did to accomplish that look. What widget is that? Care to share that wallpaper? Sort of thing. Even if the poster of the theme doesn't respond someone may know what it is you are looking for.

That said, perhaps Ultimate Clock Widget will interest you. It is pretty popular with minimalistic setup folks. You can achieve some pretty fancy stuff with it, and very minimalistic stuff with it. Well I am running AOKP if you couldn't tell, but this should be possible with any ROM that has the ability to set a wallpaper in the notification pulldown (Settings > Rom Control > General UI > Choose notification background). The wallpaper is a self modified version of [Wallpaper] AOKP Elemental - Themes and Mods - RootzWiki <---. I dropped the background, made it slightly transparent black using the .psd supplied.

The battery notification is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.hubalek.android.reborn.beta <-- that. It is on my list of things I need to theme to fit my black and white setup.
