I thought this thread was established to create a pay it forward system. The older GV inviters, invite some new guys.

They the get GV, and use their invites on the newer people to the thread and so forth.

This seemed like the best method to fairly get GV invites to everyone.

But lately it seems that getting an invite is a crap shoot. You either have to give something up, know the trick trivia question, or be awake checking the forum at 4am, when the one person that just wants to give one away is on the forum.

Basically, it's become a game, rather then a way to help each other.

Several hundred posts ago, I suggested the way we should handle this to keep the thread clean, make sure individuals were not getting multiple invites, and keep the thread amusing at the same time. Exactly two people followed the suggestions, and both got invites from me. I have a third invite I have been sitting on waiting for anyone to tell a good sob story or be sufficiently amusing, and no one has for over two hundred posts.
