The Official 'I just got my Droid Turbo 2' Thread!

I grew up in Kansas. That's still the Midwest to me. I heard of Rummy growing up.

Must be a Northern Midwestern thing.

Here's a new (newer) Turbo 2 / Moto X force commercial. Pretty cool.

Love the caption: "When your phone screen shatters, cute little emojis get hurt. And scream very loudly. Save the world inside your phone with the shatterproof DROID Turbo 2."

Anyone else had this pop up on their T2? Just received this for the first time. I got it along with the usual "Turbo Power Connected" message too

Just got this when I unlocked my phone?? Can I do something to disable this or what is this? Maybe a virus or hack of some sort?

Just clicked settings and cut this off but I have no clue what this is. I don't know what caused this. Haven't installed any apps new apps in lately either

More like Malware, probably.
You installed something recently that also installed something else. Go to settings, apps > uninstall everything you don't recognize.

I appreciate it @PereDroid

These are the only 2 new thi GS in my apps besides "Google Authenticator" and "Kreative Zooper" which is a Zooper widget pack by a fellow friend of mine. Pretty sure they are maybe system apps in the pics? Can't uninstall them only disable them

There are a couple threads from Europe that have been posted elsewhere on forums. When I get to a computer I'll see if I can't throw some links up to those discussions but you can find them if you Google search "DU Quick Charge". I cleared all the cache SD Card & Internal, deleted any excess apps, and cleared all past downloads in the Play Store. I hope this fixes this malware problem if that is what it is. I have never installed anti virus or anything similar on a mobile device before. Is it worth it?

Also went into developer options and enabled CPU Usage stats to see exactly what was running in the background.

Sorry if this was posted in the wrong place though

That definitely does not seem normal. Like you said, a quick Google search shows that the DU Quick Charge can be installed with several other apps and is then very hard to remove. Hope you can figure out how to get rid of it without doing a FDR.

Just got back to my computer after a week. DU Quick Charge seems to be gone. Didn't have a chance to screenshot while I was driving but my phone dipped down to 9% while I was driving back and a new quick charge malware has arrived. Plugged it in this morning a ES Quick Charge popped up.

Do y'all think it may ES File Explorer Pro causing this? I've deleted all of the excess apps on my phone. Should I try to pull up a bug report from my phone on my computer? Anyone now a way to see the processes that have run in the past 4hrs? Try my best not to have to do a FDR

My guess would be that ES Quick Charge is somehow connected to ES File Explorer Pro
