Trust me, it is well worth the money. It is a no BS case, its big enough to protect your phone, but small enough to fit in docks, and looks really sexy, I will try and post photos tonight

that coating doesnt do well with time/use.

Define time/use... I've had my innocase for about 2 months, I carry my phone every day, and I work construction. It still looks brand new.

ive had an innocase on my d1 for at least 6 months, eventually the coating will break down wherever contact is most frequent. you would likely see it around the corners or edges first.

Hmm.. Good to know. I guess 6 months isn't so bad, though. I replaced my Body Glove cases once a year or so because the rubber starts getting raggedy on all the edges, and eventually starts peeling up.

the most durable and best cases for this phone that i would recommend are the textured/rubberized verizon case (snap-on) for 20 bucks or the otterbox for about 26 bucks on amazon.

the hard plastic used by the otterbox will last longer. generally i put a case on the phone to take the brunt of everyday use, scratches, dings, drops, etc. so that after a year or so my device is still pristine and can get a better than decent turnover to put towards the next device ....

Ugh... I hate that verizon piece of crap.

Fed up with the Verizon holster

I've had my Droid for a few months now, upgraded from a flip phone. The guy at the Verizon store highly recommended the standard holster. It appears that I spent tne money, only to find out that this isn't the right holster for me. It's too difficult to get the phone out of the holster. I've looked at some of the other holsters out there, but there aren't many. I've looked at the Seidio Active photos on the website, but I don't know whether it'll be any easier to get out when it rings. I don't want to spend the money unless I can be sure that it's better than what's currently hanging off my belt. Some of the better looking cases like Otter, arent compatible with a holster. Anybody got any better news on the holster front?

it's actually a good case, if you're referring to the one i am. it's semi-rubberized, not that hardshell one.

the only peave i have is that 2 of the tabs have been slowly scratching the bezel on the phone body because i've been snapping it in a certain way.
not severe, but could have done without that.

otterbox ftw

that is all

i wouldnt pay that much homage to the brand. but you can get one for about 15 bucks less than wat otterbox wants (from amazon), so @ about 27 bucks shipped, the price balances out its function (to take abuse) while being the only case that can protect this phone as well as a body glove or innocase active

Yeah but does that case fit in the Motorola docking station?
