The UD 2 Bug Thread (if u have any)

Lately my wallpaper has been randomly reverting back to the UD default paper. Restarting LauncherPro brings it back, but it always happens again. Anyone else? This has never happened on any other ROM for me.

Same here... also my lock screen wont change from the stock UD backround and im having redraws like no tomorrow as well as aweful battery life... I love some of the features of this rom, but it is way too buggy for me. it seems more like a beta then a full release rom.

List of issues: (wiped and installed, then did it again and I have the same issues)
1: Aweful battery life.. every other kernal bootloops
2: redraws like crazy (even with the local.prop mod)
3: UD stock backround defaults everything, even my lock screen is different then the backround i have normally
4: UD settings crashes everytime I change a setting now, I cant remove the bluetooth and wifi widget from the pulldown

Ive got a bunch more issues too... its really sad :( People need to build off this rom, fixing all the issues

I'm not having these problems, but I did have the wallpaper thing on CM6 and on UD1.0.0. The easiest way to fix it is to go into system/app and remove UDwallpapers.apk.
I tried that, and my wallpaper immediately came back...awesome. But when I woke up the next morning and picked up the Droid, I was greeted by the UD wallpaper again. WTF? With UDWallpapers.apk gone, where is that even coming from? :icon_eek:

Wiped dalvik cache from UD settings, and wiped phone cache from SPRecovery, my wallpaper again came back for a while. But alas, it's got the UD wallpaper right now...yet again. :(

I'm not having any of the wallpaper issues you are describing. however, is it possible to extract the phonedialer.apk from UD 1.0 and update.zip install it like the camera and gallery fix that is going around?

Smokie.. yes. But use the phone from UD 8.0 as the one in 1.0.0 is CyTownPhone and it messes the slider buttons up on 2.0.0. Phone.apk from UD 8 works fine thoguh

I knew it, its gone. The compcache setting is gone. That's where I thought it was to, and it had been before. Its not there seriously

I'm trying to install camera.zip fix posted earlier. I've never used CW Recovery before so I installed ROM Manager and flashed latest recovery. I tried rebooting to recovery and after a little while stuck on M logo, maybe two to three minutes, it just rebooted to home screen. I tried twice with same result. Just for S's and G's, I tried rebooting go Spre, via option on power button, and same problem, rebooting to home screen. I tried rebooting to Spre by holding down x key, but still couldn't do it. For some reason, I can't boot into any recovery. Other than same camera problems as others, I'm liking this Rom and all is functional except inability to boot into recovery. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Try just powering off your phone. Don't reboot into recovery. Power down then once phone shuts off at the same time hold the power button and the letter x until you see the m logo then release both. You should now be in recovery.

It didn't work. M logo comes up for longer than usual. It flashes off, I release x button, M logo pops back up for a short time, then boots to home screen. Still no recovery screen.

I have a big, maybe the biggest, problem with UD 2.0. Every time I turn my phone off and turn it back on later or reboot it the rom completely messes up. When I slide to unlock to get to my homescreen I get spammed with android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. This is when I have absolutely nothing on any homescreen with or without the backed up apps. I then have to go back into recovery and try another way to get it to work, I have tried everything and haven't gotten any luck. Please help if you know what's causing this or if it just a major bug.

Reebz, did you hold the power button and x? You have to keep them both pressed till the m logo.
