The ugly red dot...

I also have handcent but on mine the red dot has the n
umber of new messages in it not under it. The only thing under it is the blue icon. Have you checked for an upgrade recently or maybe need to remove and reinstall

I might reinstall as last resort. I understand function of the red dot....but why would they place it over the icon that notifies you of new texts? ....just doesn't make sense to me.....

I don't know what else to tell you : ) it is what it is. If it's that bothersome, I'd recommend uninstalling the app.

It's hard being a developer. They cannot please everyone because no matter how good something is somebody will always find fault with it.

My contention is, does the app work like it's supposed to and does it deliver all that it says it is capable of. If yes I won't complain. If it's not aesthetically pleasing that's on me. I'll either choose to use it or not.

No worries. I love everything else about the program...far better than the droid default....it's just a minor gripe....
