Concerning "Getting "Back to Stock" for a "WhateverNameCustomROM"...your kidding right??? Really?????

Here are a few examples of the secret forumla for doing that...

If you have a Sapphire ROM with my Theme and you want to get back to stock Sapphire...you installl Android 1.6 Stock ROM.

If you have CyanogenMod CM6 with my Theme and you want to get back to stock CyanogenMod ....you Install Windows Mobile 7 ROM.

I can go and on, but hopefuly you see the secret pattern here in these 2 examples.

Will get new version out tomorrow for Droid 1...it is so slick!!! The pop-up menus alone are the BOMB!!...the only word that comes to mind is "Elegant".

Just got my hands on the Inverted Twitter app, gonna try to knock out the Theme for it tonight so I can include it in the release tomorrow!

I'm not sure this is related to the theme, but search hasn't been my friend and I chose this as a starting point. Every time I open My Maps Editor I get an FC (on fresh re-installs, which I've done a lot of I get it after agreeing to terms). My suspicion is it might have to do with theme changes to maps. Can anyone else get My Maps Editor to run on this theme on BB 0.4 or other ROMs?

If you didm't wipe cache or use Titanium etc, to Wipe the Data for Maps (only) when you undated to the Maps 4.4 with my later updates this could happen.

Trying wiping the Data for Maps using Titanium and see if it continues.

Same deal if you have used the patch update for Gmail 2.2.1

One Quick Tip for you....

Look in the system/app folder and the first file will propably be named something like AccountsandSettings.apk ...I need to know if there is another file next to it that is named the same but ends with .odex instead of apk

Well, that was also part of my issue was finding a clear-cut definition of DeOdexed and Odexed, so thank you very much for the quick primer. Now that I have that in my small brain, I can tell you that, yes, I do have the .odex file in that folder. I am now downloading the proper file and will attempt that install after a proper backup.

I appreciate the guidance and will report back on the loading success!

I have found that 99.9999% of ALL issues are related to using the wrong file....0.00005% is related to not wiping the phone properly when install the ROM before my Theme...the last 0.00005% is related to not knowing the features of the ROM you are using

If I hear "the clock and text is black in the status bar" one more time from users of ROMs that have special app/features to change those colors....I am going to go buy an iPhone!!

Yeah, I've wiped just about everything map related, restored w/o data and tried reinstall of Editor from the market. I haven't uninstalled Maps yet, but might give that a shot. It may be something else weird on my system, and My Maps isn't a huge app for me. I just thought maybe someone else had had the issue or maybe I could rule out the BB/Black Glass combo as a potential source for the problem.

I use Maps a lot with my Theme...haven't had any issues so far...but will keep my ears open.

Ok, lots of the market apps seem to indicate it just FCs for lots of folks after Maps 4.4/Froyo. Weird that Google searching or forum searches weren't getting many hit/leads. Anyway, after a few minutes of getting FolderOrganizer back with all the icons/labels for the other Maps apps, I'm back where I started. No harm, no foul, and definitely not related to any map theming.
