Hey there, so I keep trying to install this theme over CM6 RC3 many times to no avail. I've tried it many times and it doesn't seem to stick, I downloaded it a few times to make sure that I didn't get a corrupt file, and I'm using ROM Manager to install it. I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong, the RC2 version worked perfectly(with RC2 of course)...UGH!!! any assistance from ANYONE would be greatly appreciated - Tommy

Are you using the r2 version of the file? I had the same issue with the non-r2 version.

Can I add this in CM updater? If so How? Never used a CM ROM before.

If you buy the premium version of ROM Manager it will tell you when there is an update to CM.

Thanks..bought and paid for....does the theme updater work too? This is my favorite theme. Seems like after months I FINALLY have my phone the way I want

Just so it is clear, my Theme is not on AND Updater and there are no plans for it to be. Currently 928Droid Black Glass Themes are a DroidForums Exclusive and this is the ONLY place to get it.

IF, I change my mind in the future, I will be the one to put them on an Updater, anyone else doing so is unauthourizied. If whoever is itching to put a Theme on an updater....build your own Theme and put it there if you like, just leave mine alone.

BUT, I am working with someone on a "Themer for Droid" app that will acomplish the same thing, maybe better.

Didn't mean to imply you were, just saying I think he's had other people snitch some of his work without permission and pass it off as their own, or put out old versions of his theme (which is a work in progress and probably will be as long as the software he's themeing continues to be updated) in stuff without his permission and he's had to clean up the mess. That kind of thing doesn't sit well with some people, and it shouldn't!

Yeah I've downloaded both the first release and the R2 version multiple times and its still not working for me ...if I can't get this working then that's it for me ...my life's officially OVER!! :'(''"

What's the issue? Boot-looping or it just not taking? If it's the latter, are you sure you're installing it correctly? I'm not trying to make you sound like an idiot when I ask if you're allowing the install before you're telling it to install, but that's caught more than one person up even after they've rooted for a long time.

It's the latter, I've tried it multiple times in ROM manager, from clockwork recovery and even so recovery. What do you mean "allowing it to install "? I am rooted if that's what you mean, I have superuser permissions ..

SPRecovery -- "allow update.zip" "install update.zip (deprecated)" when you go to install.

Have you install CM6-RC3 First??? Before installing the Theme???

And, was everything working OK with CM6-RC3 before you installed the Theme.

Just so you know my Theme files are just Theme files, NOT ROMs.

Also which Launcher are you using?

If you had CM6-RC3 successfully installed prior to installing my Theme. what exact stesp did you do to install the Theme... be specific and Theme file name please.
