[THEME] BLACKDOUT BLUE; by ecsnead

Getting an error message of "download interrupted, it cannot be resumed" using default browser, dolphin, and multiple links (maybe 8 attempts unsuccessful). Other downloads are working fine. Probably operator problems (me) but would love to know how to fix this. Black juice blue for Liberty loaded fine but when this one wouldn't even download I went to the pre-black juice nandroid backup thinking there might be a conflict. Still no luck. Any help would be appreciated! TIA

I just dl'd from the op, no problem. Do you dl to your phone?

Mikey - I am using Zeam launcher right now and when I long press to add a widget - the first 2 popup boxes are blacked out...no blue text shows thru...can this be fixed as well...or do I need to try another launcher ...the theme is either way LOL...

Is zeam in the market? I will see if I can fix those menus, but if its a paid app i cant post it. Ill let you know.

Only tried to dl to the DX--I have downloaded 5 of your terrific themes with no problems (that's why I'm sure the issue is with me). Googling the "download interrupted" message to see what I can find...

Just downloaded to my computer, moved it to the sd card, and installed. No clue what the issue was but very happy with this theme--blue is my fav!! Kudos!!

Messin with zeam...BOUT TO FREAK OUT!!! Lol. I have all the text blue but in the dam popup menu. Im'a keep messin with it until I get it...

I also noticed the same in LP if I selected a FO Item after selecting shortcut - the FO item list is blacked out (but Apps is at the top which is what I normally use )...LOL

As long as I remember the screen, I am fine but in case anyone else mentions its...

And I like Zeam too...pretty similar to LP just not quite as many options...

This is a port of ecsnead's awesome BlackedOut Blue theme. Huge thanks to him for letting me port this awesome theme. Id also like to thank jatx2wne for his patience with my endless question's

This is a dark theme with lots of blue and black throughout. Ecsnead did an awesome job with images as well as xml edits. This was not a fun port for a noob like me

**I would recommend using ADW and either the black ice theme(99 cents) or yorks blue theme. The one in the screenshots is black ice...

I loaded the theme....love it, except for that thing with the Beautiful Widgets weather not showing in the drop-down, but not a big deal at all. I LOVE blue. I was just confused with the above - I put on the BlackedOut Blue theme, but below that, it mentions using ADW (which I use) and the black ice theme. I like that screenshot, but does that mean you run 2 themes on top of each other? Is that the BlackedOut Blue theme, or the black ice theme? Both?

EDIT- never mind! My brain started working. I found that ADW theme, (ADWTheme BlackIceADW....had to get the spelling right to find it, blackice as one word) and forgot that ADW can be themed over the top of the Liberty theme. Takes me a while sometimes, but I get better and more adventurous with the phone when I try and fail, try again, read the forums, etc.

What do you mean by I can't flash a theme over a restored backup. What else is there besides restored backups? Are you saying I have to reflash the rom before every theme? I've never done that before and have been fine. I just don't understand.

If your able to flash a theme after you restored a backup, then by all means disregard what I said. Most people lose system apps if they flash a theme over a restored backup. And by restored backup this is what I mean. If you do a nandroid backup, restore that backup, you are running a restored backup...

Wipe data and cache, flash liberty. Flash themes til your hearts content. As soon as you go back to a backup and flash themes you will run into issues. I don't know how else to tell you. Do you know the difference between a new install and a backup?? Can someone else help me out here?...
