[THEME] Gingerbread CM6.1

Awesome theme, I'm really liking it. However, like someone else said earlier, the Gmail icon is still the old version. I assume it's because Gmail gets updated through the market and though the new Gingerbread icon is in the theme it doesn't show because the new market version overrides the one that comes with the ROM. Is there any way to get the new Gmail icon to show up rather than the old one?

Sorry, I should have specified. The Gmail icon in the notification bar - not the actual app icon.

That's not quite it but close. If you go to the 2.3 user's guide here you can see the Gmail icon I'm talking about. It's on page 28.

OH I see. It's basically what we have now, just inverted.

Yeah, and it's smaller to fit better with the bar and other updated icons.

Ill see if I can find it in the SDK. Only negative about theming Gmail is that u can't get market updates.

Here's the modified Gmail with the Gingerbread status bar icon

Uninstall stock Gmail before installing this one. You wont get market updates if you use the themed version.

Hey Benny, don't know if you caught my earlier comment about the landscape lockscreen, which hasn't been themed yet. It still has the old tabs. Is that an easy fix?
