[THEME] I Present to You... Chrome for UD 2.3

Hey x I have the same issue as I had in my 2.1 screenshots. funky keyboard and notification bad doesnt have your chrome as well as phone/contact area. Exact samething as 2.1 Im sure its probably the same fix you had there

nmoore does this describe your problem?

Dialer themed, but contacts and favorites are stock, keyboard white on white text, settings themed but nothing within the settings menu is themed

i have 36k in the system folder it says.. Not sure what you did to fix it in the other thread to be honest

yes very familiar... Also my notifications are the UD stock not the chrome

nmoore, dont worry about it. I know now exactly what your problem is. You phone is trying to do what I do at work.. stuff 10 pounds of crap into a 5 pund bag. I do this better than the phone though, its my job.

1st things 1st.. go back to stock UD without wiping. Question.. do you use boot animations?

no i dont use boot animations. I removed it before I put the theme on

ok no worries. here is your issue.. you have so much in the system folder on your phone that it is running out of memory before it can install everything my theme is throwing at it.

Are you using a theme before you installed my theme?

nope i wiped clean installed 2.3 then your theme tonight

ok.. so its just a matter of you finding space in the system folder.. I slimmed this down tremendously for 2.3. You just have a lot more going on in /system than most. Who cares though right? So, here is what we can do... you can go thru your /system/app folder and get rid of stuff you don't use, you can go thru your /system folder and look thru the folders and delete stuff you don't use (if you have questions about what something is, keep it.. only delete things you know what are). lastly, you can look thru my themed apps and tell me what you dont use and I can delete them and post it up for you to download.

As it stands right now, the is for the D1 only. I WILL be doing the Dinc and it will be in the OP by end of business 12/2/10.

EDIT: 12/2/10 7:12pm EST........ Dinc is now in the OP but it has NOT been tested as I do not own a Dinc.

Well, I own a Dinc, and I'll gladly test it for you my friend.

Ultra... much appreciated man! Make a backup.. just so you know, Isodozer tried it and it errored out. I asked him to check some stuff to figure out if it was my theme or his phone but he hasn't responded yet. The Dinc d/l is in the OP.

My theory by the way, is that his /system folder is in read only mode.

ok i freed up 11mb.. hopefully thats enough not really sure what else is safe to delete.. installing theme now

i got rid of car home, talk, boot animations. that was really about it haha oh also pandora.
