Yeah I pulled that screenshot from 2.4. For 2.5, I made the background transparent so you could see your wallpaper. I never had the devil dude for contacts (at least I dont think so). But sticking him in there should be no issue.
I will also post back up the wallpaper download so you can use one of those if you want to.
Hey, x, I downloaded and flashed Android's alternative keyboard and I'm not seeing his (or yours) for that matter. Looks like the default GB keyboard (dull gray). Thoughts? I have over 130mb of space on my internal so I don't think that's an issue. Thanks.

llt_droid.. not a matter of internal space, that's different. Its a matter of space in your /system folder on the phone. If that's running low it won't install the Keyboard. Probably didn't isntall a couple other things as well, you just haven't noticed.
Use Root Explorer and go to /system. at the top it will say how much free memory you have.
