[Theme] NexTheme for Droid X (BETA)

If you followed all the instructions in the link i posted it should work. I had skipped downloading rsd lite since i had it.. but it didnt reconize the x.. it was and outdated one.. and you have to make sure yiu move that file over

You have to be in your bootloader.. camera+volume+power

One more thing.. i had to manually download the drivers from a website .. my pc wouldnt install them when i plugged my phone in..

Thanks, realized I was in the wrong mode right before you posted that ;) But even after doing that, RSD recognizes my phone now but after I hit start it runs for a second then says FAIL under result. What now?

However, when in recovery mode there is an error at the bottom that reads:
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command
Could this be making my phone inaccessible to the computer for some reason? Or am I supposed to do something in recovery mode before the computer recognizes it?
You don't want to be in recovery, you want to bein the bootloader like so:
You have to be in your bootloader.. camera+volume+power

Edit: I'm slow tonight...

You have the sbf selected right?.. if yes. then unplug it and load up rsd lite then plug it in.. see if that helps

Sadly that didnt help. RSD is trying to tell me that my phone "is not compatible with a multilevel super interface file". I have the droid x and am using the droid x sbf so I don't understand the error lol. BTW Thanks for helpin me out with this guys, I really appreciate the fast support

Hmmm.. you have me stumped... did you move the pst flash. Ini file to program files/motorola/rsdlite?

What version of rsdlite are you running?

Yeah, sounds like you didn't put the ini file into the rsdlite directory after installing it. You are using RSDLite 4.7 too right?

Well damn, I can't get the phone to activate with *228, 1 or *22899 and VZWs website is acting stupid and giving errors on the activate phone page. I guess I gotta call and talk to a rep. Don't want to.

Well I'm still not activated but that is an SBF complication, I think I just have to wait until morning to activate.

But I finished installing the theme and it is quite sexy. Thanks!

kind of late but this might help other ppl....i found this over at xda

After restoring my phone via SBF, I had to re-activate it to get the 3G service working again. I didn't realize this at first, so I ended up doing this:
-Apply SBF
-Apply 604 update.zip
-Factory reset
-Turn phone on

When I went through this process, the phone automatically kicked through the "we need to activate your phone' process. It was automated and took like a few minutes. No biggy.

Oh wow, so sorry you guys had to go through all that. I will make it very clear that root explorer does not work.

I actually only tested with adb and terminal emulator, just made a bad assumption that root explorer would work.

My apologies!

Yea the file was definitely the problem. However, I made another stupid move and only charged the battery to 10% before trying the process again. The installation was at 99% when my droid x shut off and destroyed the process. Now the bootloader screen is the only screen that comes up and it always say "Code Corrupt - Battery Low - Cannot Program". I don't think it is charging through the wall or my computer any more so I can't reflash it now. *Sigh* I really screwed myself over this time.
