[THEME]~RELEASE~ **RENOVATED** for MULTIPLE ROMS

.My installation of your theme to date has been from stock ROM, no prior themes applied. But on every fix or update, I have been applying right over top of the last Renovated I installed. Do I need to wipe between each attempt?

Okay, that's going to take me awhile. I may not be able to get to it until later today.

OK - here's what I got. I flashed UD and installed the UD transparent theme currently posted on the OP (with the waked out dialer pads) to deal with a text color pull down "issue" (turned out to be user error). I then installed the dialer fix .zip I PMed you and I am still getting the green dial pad when on a call (and the blue one when using BT). So, I am not sure why it didn't take for you ...

Okay, thanks for rechecking. I'll get a better chance to reflash the stock UD ROM and apply the last fix that you PM'd me a little later today. This whole work thing is getting in my way right now.

I'm not sure either, but I'll keep trying anything you may suggest.

Alright, let me know how you make out with it ...

Themed Launcher Pro Icons

OK, I have a proposition for all you LP users out there. I themed those two icons on the menu pop-up because the unthemed ones were driving me nuts! However, the only way I know how to install an app with a .zip installs it in system/app (when you download an app it installs in data/app). So, the short version of what that all means is you won't be able to uninstall LP nor will you get updates.

With that being said, any one willing to try this must have either: 1) root explorer and the know how to delete apps with it for system/app, or 2) Another method for deleting an app from system/app.

I've been running it for a while and it's doing great, then again there hasn't been an update for LP since I did it. My intention is to keep up with Fede's updates and send out a new .zip file every time ...

Here's a screen shot:

Yet another UD fix ...

First, I'd like to apologize to all those who have been using my theme with UD ... there have been many issues despite what I thought was a thorough testing phase. The reality is, a select few can not duplicate in a few days what the larger masses will do on a regular basis - everyone uses their phone differently. I am not making excuses here, I admit I should have done a better job on my end being sure everything was 100% prior to release ...

That being said, I have decided not to release any more updates and/or fixes without testing them myself. Trying to create a theme for a ROM I have never run has proven to be too difficult. I need to get behind the wheel before I look under the hood

So, this morning I updated the UD links (again) for (what I hope is) a fix of the in-call dial pad. It was brought to my attention while on a call, the dial pad looked different then when the phone was idle. Here's what I am talking about:

I have tested both the solid and transparent versions of this fix AS WELL AS the text notification color changing (another previous issue). I installed both theme versions over a stock UD and in both cases the in-call dialer and text color worked perfectly.

Again, I apologize to those this has effected and hope you continue to stick with me as I am learning more and more about this everyday. And please, if you think something looks off or is not running right let me know! I want to get this theme running right on all ROMs I support!

Thanks for your understanding ...

Yank, again I'm very new with this but I believe LP is an integral part of the UD ROM. Since flashing the UD, there's been an update to LP that wouldn't install. So running a version of LP without the general updates being applied is okay with me as long as what I have runs good and now looks good.

Is there any potential conflict with multiple modified versions of LP though?

Nice work above. I don't tweet, but I'm thinking of installing Pandora.

I think it'll be OK. When I flashed to UD I noticed it was an older version, so I installed my "Renovated LP" .zip and it installed and ran fine ...
But you are correct, anyone running UD already has LP installed in system/app and cannot get update unless they delete it, reboot and then download it again from the market.

Cool, I have Root Explorer installed, but I'm not sure I understand the process of deleting and putting separate apps on the phone. I may need a few instructions, but I don't mind trying.

Yank, got it done. Running LP 8.1.1 with no problems at all so far and the two LP icons are changed as shown in the screenshot. As usual, very consistent with the theme, nice!

Thanks for the directions, pretty easy.

Cool deal! Let me know if you encounter any weirdness ...
