tried doing that but gmail was part of the Rubix 2.0.1 focused. Couldnt uninstall.

That's correct you don't have to uninstall it if you didn't install it from the market. I've had no complaints as far as issues with stuff like that. Was you coming from a fresh rubix install unthemed? Or did you have another theme installed before flashing mine?
