[THEMES] AOSP & VZW 'Blue' + Goodies for Liberty

How did you install it? It's a good idea to wipe cache when installing a new theme. Its even better to flash a fresh copy of liberty (no wipe) before a new theme. That way you have a clean slate to apply the themes. I've jumped around a few themes the past week and I just wipe cache and its good.

Hey B,

I really like these themes. I'm a fan of simplistic, matte looking themes like the stock Gingerbread Blur. Anyways, I seem to be running into an issue. I don't know quite know to describe it, but it seems like the resolution on the notification bar and pull down menu is off. There are lines of different shades. The only way I know how to describe it is if you, for example, take a high res 64 bit image and view it in a 32 or 16 bit environment.

Attached is a screen cap. Hope you can see what I'm talking about. Thanks in advance for any help!

Looks the way mine does. Do you mean it going from dark to light as it goes down? If so, thats how its supposed to look.

You are right. It its how he designed it. I thought out was pretty slick.

Updated from my GingerHoney LGBD2 @ 1.2 GHz

Me too! It's actually very close to the gingerblur bar (if not the same thing)

No, that's not what I mean. You can't see the lines in my screenshot? It's not suppose to "fade" from darker to lighter, but just have dark to light lines? My screenshot doesn't look like Brady's in the OP. His is seamless and smooth. Mine, you can see the distinct shades like several bars across the top.

Thanks to everyone for your replies/help!

UPDATE: Hey guys, I figured it out all my own. Like I said earlier, it looked like my resolution was off, and I was right. Somehow my LCD density got changed to 235. I reverted to the stock setting, 240, and now everything is crisp and beautiful and the colors and shades all fade together instead of looking blocky or like different colored lines. This theme looks like it's supposed to. If you guy's bar did look like mine, it's NOT supposed to. Revert your LCD density to stock, or to whatever resolution looks best. See the difference between the first image and the second? Thanks again!

OK so here's mine. It looks the same to me. I'm on zombiestomped now but I was on brady's theme when i was on liberty and it looked the same. Am I missing something? It looks great!

Thanks Idopa. See my last reply, I updated. See the difference between the first image and the second? The second looks much smoother. That's after I changed the LCD density.

Cool. I'm glad you got it sorted. I'm running at a density of 230 and it looks great to me (see my pic above). Either way, glad it's all good

One issue:

The battery meter is still the Liberty 0.8 battery meter, just green. Still the same after I re-flashed the theme twice and wiped cache.

Effin Awesome

I was using apex for the longest while. Decided to see what liberty had to offer once again.

I must say you guys come thru big time.

Best of both worlds. Blur and AOSP.

I love the gingerbread theme for blur.

Yow B!!

Man you the ****!!!!

This vzw theme works perfectly so far. :icon_ banana:

When the haptic gets fixed for the d2 (my fingers are crossed), ill be right back on this theme
