Hobby31, they have a good website, a nice community and some chapters are very active with rides, etc. I belong, but mostly ride locally with the Southern Cruisers. Doesn't matter if you're riding a Suzuki, Harley, Kawasaki, their main goal is to enjoy riding and seeing new sites and making new friends.Hey, nice Vulcan! Do you belong to VROC by chance? Here's my 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 800VN:
Thanks! No I don't belong to VROC. I just googled it and didn't know it existed. (Vulcan riders and owners club) What can you tell me about it? I'm in Florida so I'm sure they have a local chapter.
Pilch, I'm going to be 50 soon, and when (if) I ever retire, my goal is to see Alaska via motorcycle. I've read many stories on ADV Rider of people doing it and having a blast. Very nice pictures you took and shared here too.I ride a 2003 Goldwing (GL1800).
Here is a shot of me and my ride on my way to Alaska in 2006.
We could not resist stopping to watch mommy and the kids playing in the grass.
Ride safe everyone.
