Those having batt manager probs or fc's on 2.2...check this

Im glad I don't have that problem. You all did do ghetto SBF flash before updating to 2.2 right???

Also launcher is buggy on 2.2. That is the reason why the phone isn't smooth for u.

Install ADW launcher, and everything will b smooth sailing :)

I didn't use the sbf. My X was stock, just rooted. But I didn't alter/rename/delete anything. I moved su and did the update.zip. I have no issues, aside from the Battery Manager.

I thought the Batt Manager bug happened to everyone?

This is happening to users both rooted and non, who have both used SBF and not.

Thank God I am not the only one. I was running 'Battery Left' widget and thought that was the culprit. I uninstalled it, rebooted and reinstalled and the FC stopped. However, it had to recalibrate the battery so I had to just let the battery die, charged it overnight, and now have the FC on Battery Manager again. Very frustrating. Thankfully, it is the only bug I have found thus far and can live with it until the official update is released but it is still aggravating.

Has anyone tried making a phone call and then checking the Batt. Man.? I noticed that every time I reboot, I get the FC in com.android.settings when I tap on the funky battery to get usage statistics. However, earlier I had a phone call and then checked it later and it was working fine. I rebooted and got the FC again. I just made a ~10 minute phone call, and immediately checked it and, lo and behold, no FC.

EDIT: I've confirmed this with several other users, and after making phone calls, they no longer get FCs trying to access batt. usage stats through Batt. Man.

Hey, that works for me too. That's the first time I have NOT seen the FC. I guess I reboot more than I make calls. ;)

here is what i've noticed with this battery manager fc. it always happens when you plug in your phone through usb either to outlet or pc. it also always happens if you reboot your phone. after a while though the fc goes away(probably after it collects enough data). my guess is that every plug/reboot clears data in battery manage and it has nothing to show hence the fc.
