Those Who Have Gotten JB OTA ...REVIEWS

i tired out the verizon stock rom and i just couldn't take it and flashed back to my daily rom within minutes. There's too much included for my taste.

Seems pretty cool to me. Even if I won't be using the voice search a ton, it's pretty cool and it works pretty well from the few searches I've done. I don't know about signal strength; I'm inside a big building and get zero reception. I don't think Verizon has a cell tower close enough to get inside. I drive home in 4g all the way already, so I'm not sure I can compare that to anything either. I like the window transitions, the resizing widgets and automatically moving icons, and I really like the email previews in the notification window. I'll play around some more later and see what else I can think of to comment on.

Where are you getting Google Now? My phone doesn't have it, nor is it available at the play store.

It's already there

I found it by touching the search bar. It automatically brought up the Google Now page and asked me to enable it.

You can also click on the blue Google icon in your app drawer. That will kick off Google Now without automatically bringing up the keyboard for a search.

You can also hold down the home button and a circle with Google in it will appear. Just slide up to that and Google Now will open

First thing I had to do was get rid of that new way the keyboard works. I needed my quick punctuations back. The new offline speech to text is way faster! Is slightly easier to go from speech back to text but it still need some find polishing. Trying to figure out how to best use Google now. Of than that so far haven't really seen much differences.

My battery life is almost exactly the same.
My cell signal is actually worse. I have dropped 4 calls this morning. That usually doesn't happen unless I move around a lot at my desk and I don't think I have dropped 4 calls this month.. Heading to the Texas boarder Thursday so we will see if it does better there.
My data signal is better. I have never been aboe to stream slacker at my new office and I did it all morning with no buffering.
GoogleNow is a cool concept but after 24 hours it still hasn't really shown anything but the weather. I thought for sure after last night it would have all kinds of new porn links.. er what??
The auto tilt is about 50% better then it was.
The addition of the google music bar on the lock screen while streaming is the best thing I have found. I don't honestly know if it was there before though haha.
The camera slide to view was a needed feature.
Most of the lag is gone from the interface.
Google is expanding their bundle of installed apps..
The voice features have greatly improved. When I told it to send the wife directions to hell, it instead sent her a text saying "directions to hell". It did instantly navigate to the closest Jack In The Box when asked.
The only change I really see in the notifications are the addition of the settings shortcut and the font.

Definitely enjoying the new camera transitioning after taking pics, and the new little focusing is cool.

Also enjoying the prompts its had asking me which apps I would prefer to use like Browser or Chrome, or which camera apps as my default.

Google Now is awesome, and the voice search is amazing. The phone seems smoother, although I'm having trouble with one app not loading on JB.
