move to sd card, open it with phone's file manager
select installer
if you downloaded with phone it will be in download folder

ok last question:
I have the x2 eclipse v2.3 zip fil downloaded. where do I put it on the phone? and I am assumeing I run it from the bsr?

place on SD card
use bsr, choose install zip, (not update zip)

and wipe data, in bsr, before you reboot
