Upgrading from my circa-90's tech flip-phone to Android on
Verizon. I think I'd be happy with HTC Incredible but
it's already a year old and I'd hate to have to live with
it for 20months if a new one came out soon. Is the
HTC Thunderbolt effectively the Incredible 2?
I'd like to lock in before V ditches the unlimited data
plans. Will that coincide with iPhone 5 release this
summer? I will not pay more than $30 for data.
If I'd be happy with HTC Incredible, and the 4g data
doesn't cost me anymore, I might just go for the
HTC Thunderbolt. Can't imagine it being a lesser phone.
Down side is the bigger screens (Droid X/Thunderbolt) are
a little bigger than what I wanted. Incredible is just the
right size.
Wish they would release that HTC Android slider, that looks
just right but I don't want to wait another 6 months for a
new phone. I get that confusion is good for V as it makes
for uninformed consumer decisions.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
