[HACKS] [Toolkit] Nexus Root Toolkit v1.6.0 [Updated 11/26/12]

OK so I solved my connection problem. For some reason, the cable that came with my sony erricson worked, but the OEM Samsung cable that came with the Nexus did not work for file transfer, but still charges the phone. I'm baffled. Anyways, hope this helps someone.

Anyone have an alternate download link for the 1 click????? The cdma version seems to be down

The main download does seem to be down. But I tried the mirrors he has up and they all worked for me so give them a shot and let me know.

I did it! Thank you so much!!! I was so scared to try, but it seems to be working. I tested it with terminal emulator, and I can log in as superuser. I've got root access on stock rom, which is exactly what I want at the moment. I'm so grateful for this wonderful tool! Thank you so much!

In the new version the option to boot/flash image> boot temporary or flash permanent then choose Partition to flash to: Does it matter where it goes? Is there a preference as to where it should go, recovery? Just want to have all my ducks in row before I unlock/root my GN...thanks for any input here.

Let's say you were flashing the new clockworkmod touch beta. You would flash that to recovery. If you were flashing leaked radios you would flash that to radio. If you were flashing a new bootloader, you would flash that to bootloader .. ect. Those options use fastboot to flash img files. Read the directions on whatever it is you are flashing to figure out where to flash it.

For some reason my driver are showing to be installed but my device is still showing the yellow triangle next to it. Is there a step that I'm missing out on? Take that back. It shows my device until I try doing the fastboot part then it disappears.
Also my deivice is showing a fastboot read error 2147483647
Any help.
