At work two weeks ago we found a galaxy s (samsung fascinate on verizon). It was never claimed so I got the lucky Christmas present to sell for a few bucks. =) I don't have verizon, I just wanted to sell it but it's stuck on the screen that says "too many pattern attempts." When we first got the phone it never got any calls, texts, nothing, and it had the pattern lock on. It eventually locked us out. So without having verizon, or knowing the google account, is there anyway to just get rid of it? Just completely reset the phone and delete absolutely everything on it or anything like that?

The best thing to do in this situation is to return the phone to verizon. Someone lost it and so its either their property or the property of the insurance company that replaced it.

tappin and a talkin

Return the phone to Verizon and they will return it to the owner. Just because it wasn't claimed doesn't mean it isn't missed.
