touchscreen keyboard responce

Is there any way to speed up the responce time on this .. i hit keys and it delays so hard its annoying.. I did the 2.1 update didnt help

There is a very slight visual delay but as far as I know it does not affect functionality. Depending how long you've had the phone you may just need some time to get used to using the keyboard. There is no way to adjust the keyboard sensitivity without a potential 3rd party app. You can turn on haptic feedback and audible feedback though for better "confirmation."

bc i try to type fast and when i do it will completly missa key lol .. tried swype or w.e dont like it.. any other progs?

Go to Settings>Language & keyboard and select the second "Android keyboard" under text settings which takes you to the Onscreen keyboard settings. The first two options allow you to have it vibrate on keypress, make a sound on keypress, or both.
