Touchscreen stopped working

After ending a phone call, the touchscreen stopped working; I powered off, then tried to turn it back on, and nothing. Called a friend ( from a landline ) who works for verizon, suggested the power/volume down option; phone rebooted, but touch screen still does not work...I can receive calls, but can't answer them. Suggestions??

There might be a chance an app is conflicting with it.go one by one n figure out which one it is..or..a f.d.r,always fixes a problem 99% of the time n clear ur cache @bootmode

Thanks for the suggestions...but I can't check my apps because the touchscreen doesn't work. Taking it to the Verizon store in the morning....
