Tranquility 3.0 - Blurless taken to the next level

On a side note...it is funny how I/We(TDF) got trashed for calling Fission AOSP but it is ok to call a ROM full of Blur, blurless?

Not starting a flame war but what is good for the goose is also good for the gander...

So how is blurless taking to a whole new level?

There are like 3 blur files inside the moto-res.apk that is the only thing left of blur...there is no blur at all inside the app folder. All packages are AOSP but for browser cause I am having a hard time to get it working.

This should be a non-issue, that status of all ROMs on the DroidX/2 are that they are a compilation of files pulled from a (a) different source, or (b)created from the AOSP source.

We do not have an AOSP ROM at this point, but I think that is irrelevant, people should run what they feel is the best option for their device.

Too many times we (the android community) are our own worst enemies, and I support Fission and their efforts, and applaud them for their work. If we support one another rather attempting to bring down each other we will continue to grow as a community.

Be cautious. I flashed this over Fission 1.2.1 and when it booted, the home button did not work, nor did phone. After flashing to previous ROM, then flashing Tranq 3.0, it booted and has double email, and a few other apps.

Also, be cautious of the TranQ tools. Be sure to authorize marketplace before flashing black/white themes. Otherwise, it will cause the marketplace to force close during installation, then it will reboot and the system will force close, forcing you to format system.

This happened to me, despite following the directions. Perhaps it's just my device, or only happened this on instance, but it's something to be careful about.

I agree we should be working together when need be and we had a good convo one night on gchat. Then I read comments about Fission that was made by you and some others which left me confused...

How to change your boot image: Droid X and Droid 2 Style

That is the thread where the boot logo replacer.zip was released.

This is the same method that was adapted for the Tranq Toolbox to change the boot logo at will. Use this to change the boot logo to whatever you like.

There are several threads on this forum with many custom logos available and instructions for creating your own.

If there isn't one available already that puts back the original, I will see to it that it is created and posted for download for users who want to revert.

We just thought it was a cool way to brand the ROM in a way that we had developed using a new tool.

You say your not into Drama you sure create enough of it.
P3 has done a lot for this community. from leaks, to roms, replacing bootlogos etc..

Team Fission has done great work for the community as well.
Why is it others can make negative comments and nothing be said?

Launcher Pro Force close??

After installing tranquility 3.0 I got a force close loop when running launcher pro. I later found out that its ONLY when I activate the "plus". I was wondering if anyone else has the same issue. All settings seem to be correct and it doesn't matter how much I have on the home screens...

i've had soooo many problems with this rom!!! lots of bugs and force closes! camera doesn't event work anymore! =( had high hopes for this too

Launcher pro plus works, but I did not activate it while in this rom. I only wiped the cache partition.
