Transferring files to an iphone with bluetooth

Has anyone connected their droid with an iphone via bluetooth? I wanted to transfer some files using Bluetooth File Transfer. My friend and I both tried to initiate connections, and while we both got the message that the phones paired, they wouldn't connect. I've connected a number of bluetooth slave devices and it's always tricky - is this the same way or is there some application compatibility we need to make the connection and then do the transfer?

Good luck...there are those on here trying to do the same with a Mac and having issues.....

i can't even get it to work between a droid and a hero. i thought we don't have OBEX ability or something? i always get paired but not connected. only way i can get transfers to work is from win7 pc to droid. not even the other way around.
