Transparent apps...what's missing ?

What am I doing wrong.? I cannot get the facebook application installed for the life of me. I have followed the instructions on this thread and still cannot get this installed

- Do I install this using Titanium Back up or something?

if not, then it is posted as stand alone .apk and can be downloaded individually and added to either the CW Update.zip or the SPR/RZR Update.zip files that are available for download and flashed via your recovery of choice

- I usually use rom manager but I know how to install .zip from the recovery menu.

You can install the signed apps using any file manager. I never used Titanium but I assume that that will have the option as well. Just put the app on your card and then open it and it'll ask if you want to install

For the update.zip question, you'd simply create an update.zip using the provided templates and just flash in recovery. All you have to do is drag the apk to the update.zip's system/app/ folder and then flash

Vending.apk is the market application. You have to put it in an update.zip by itself and not with any other apk

If so then I think I understand now and that is a great idea cause it will take less time doing more then one at a time.

So what happens when there is an update for that app? Will I loose the transparent one once I update?

if your using SPRecovery you have to call it update.zip and there can't be another update.zip on your card in the same directory...if you're using Clockwork you can call it whatever you want
