Transparent apps...what's missing ?

I'm trying my hand at minor themeing. Mainly just for my own use.
I love the transparent themes, however I do find that its difficult to see the text at times depending on the back ground/wall paper image.

I have been using Abobe FireWorks and cant find in the fonts if there is a font that is "outlined"
For instance white fonts with black out lines, so that way no matter if someone is using lighter wall paper or darker, you can always view it becuase of the contrast.
I know that for fixed images like say, the dialer where the number buttons are fixed pngs, you can go into and manually outline the numbers, but thats a pain to do each one.
I think you can not do it for most other apps, say, facebook becuase they are not fixed images and the color of the fonts are xml coded with in the app it self?

Any ideas/thoughts?

what phone and what rom. I know on my dx it doesn't show up but there is a hack to make it open if you dont own the dock
if you do or if you have magnets to enable it it will start up.

i'll look for my shortcut that was made to it if that is the issue.

I got this fixed for anyone that might stumble across this in the future. There was an app called CarHomeLauncher.apk that got deleted out of /system/app/. I just went into the p.e.4.2.zip and pulled it out, then adb pulled /data/app/com.google.android.carhome-1.apk that was downloaded from the market, renamed it CarHomeGoogle.apk and adb pushed them both into system/app/ and rebooted. Everything's working great now.

Can the Gmail and Market apps have a tinted background? Dig the transparency but a little hard to see with my wallpaper. Great Work!
