Transparent apps...what's missing ?

I just tried it. "could not launch requested activity" is the response my phone gives me.

What kind of phone I'm on d1 I'm not sure as to wether or not this will work with other devices but I would think it should

OG Droid PE V5. I've been redoing my theme for PE GB so it could be that too. I'm about to do a fresh wipe and install maybe that will fix it.

That's what I'm on so it should work...I don't have internet though so I drop boxed the file from my phone but if pistol got it to install (and I'm almost positive just has to make that change in settings) then it should be good to go

Go into settings and check that you have black background checked that should fix it

Yeah, it worked fine. Downloaded right from my phone, used root explorer to move it to the root of my sd card, rebooted into recovery, and flashed just fine (on RZR by the way).

I had to resort to using the handcent menus to accomplish the same thing. menu/settings/conversation list settings/background/ > choose image and add your wallpaper. Same thing for bubble settings/background/ and you're good to go.

You can set it up so that you can draw gestures on the screen and it will type whatever you have it set up to type. Its at the bottom of three settings

Decent workaround. I'd still like to figure out how to theme it though, drives me nuts to spend time on something and come up empty handed. They update it often enough though that this is probably better. Only part that sucks is doing it separately if you change wallpapers. I don't change it up much though, so it works fine for me.

I was trying to write a custom background in the Mms app, which files did you edit for transparency? I've gotta be missing somthing.
