Ya it should work on a d2 just fine but you will probably have to mount the system before you flash it. D2 and dx tend to need that extra step and people often forget it.

Well I tried it in cm recovery and the first time, it removed my market completely. Tried it again and I still had the market but its just the plain jane new one.
