Tried to play N64 games - N64oid runs SLOOOOOOWWW on this machine... :(

One of the main reasons I bought this phone was the brilliant display, and the HDMI capabilities to hook up to my TV. I had dreams of running the HDMI out of the phone, using a bluetooth controller and playing some golden eye, zelda, mario kart, etc. on the N64oid. I downloaded the latest version I could find (I think 2.3) and the gameplay is SLOOOOOOOWWW... has anyone had better experiences with a different version? I have seen videos of the GS2 running N64 with little trouble.

Emulators have to be optimized for the hardware. You can't just fire it up...they likely have not even worked it for the Nexus yet.

Yeah unfortunately when dealing with a new OS devs need to optimize their apps to run on it. It'll take time but this phone should be able to run emulators like a champ when it's all said and done.
