Trying to root!!

everytime i get into fastboot i get fastbootinvalidcommand which is messing up my rooting:/ im unlocked but this is really starting to piss me off any help would be appreciated.
What ive already done:
ive unlocked

1. installed pdanet
2. samsund drivers (multiple different time)
3. tried redownloading superbooty
4. tried adb

i think its the fastbootinvalid command thing idk what else it could be

Download android sdk and Java sdk. Open the android sdk manager and download platform tools. Place your files under tools for and then the instructions will be the same as the others

I pushed su to my phone but when I tried to flash cwm its just sits there I probably waited 10 min idk how long its supposed to take but that's a small file so I don't think it would be that long
