turning off my phone

Doing a full power down does ensure RAM is fully wiped but this shouldn't be necessary for most modern OS's.

I don't want to make a bigger deal out of this than what it really is, but why not follow a few simple recommendations from the manufacturer? These include, but are not limited to:

1. Fully charge while powered off prior to initial use
2. Use the charger provided with the phone
3. Reboot daily

Motorola and other manufacturers know these devices better than any of us. It is in their best interest, as well as ours, that we enjoy our experience using them.

What are you still running Win 95 or some other out of date OS? Aside from shutting down for hardware changes, I pretty much only reboot my PCs when a install/update/reconfigure requires it. Other than being in S3(S4 if battery gets low) HTPC & laptop are running, server & it's VMs are on 24/7.

Was supposed to be a joke
